Very little of the road remains here.
Blue passes into cyan and green, surrounded by darker edges, while a pale shape floats near the bottom of the frame. The original scene has been reduced to colour and uncertain form.
I like photographs that don't give themselves away immediately, and this one resists explanation more than the other road pictures.
Knowing that it came from a journey changes how I read it, but it isn't necessary. It could almost be light remembered rather than landscape recorded.
Sometimes finding a picture means allowing the subject to disappear.
