‘I made this image while walking down a wooden jetty on a cloudy day.
I layered multiple frames to emphasise the texture of the wood. The white areas are white washed poles that added slashes of brightness to the scene.
At the time I was feeling depressed and cowed but determined to find a way through. So, despite this being a dark image it is also one of hope and purpose.’
