I write about the stories behind my photographs here.
Each photograph begins with something seen — a particular light, a relationship of forms, a place, a person, or a moment that stays with me. Together, the pictures form a record of more than fifty years of looking, from small details and abstractions to landscape and the human experience.
The finished print is an important part of the work. My photographs are produced as small limited editions, printed with archival pigment inks on museum-quality cotton rag paper. Prints can be supplied framed or rolled, ready for your preferred framer.
